Partnering with Families for Whole Child Learning
We believe in whole child education and in the importance of a strong connection between "school" and home. We offer a flexible work environment and a growth mindset approach to learning. Students are encouraged to be leaders in their areas of strength and to focus on process over product when learning new and difficult tasks.
Our Program
Our certified teacher will work with you and your child to expand on your current curriculum in our daily activities. Exploring the world with a hands on approach, we strive to foster a sense of wonder and a joy for learning, as well as a sense of community and belonging for homeschooling families.
Mixed Age Groups
With a small, school house style approach we can support learners from ages 5 to 13. While older children learn empathy and skills through leading and teaching younger students, the younger students learn social skills and independence from their older peers. Our activities are designed to have something for everyone.
Shape of the Day
Your child will spend the morning working on mathematics and English Language Arts in a laid-back, yet quiet and focused environment, with the guidance of a certified teacher. Work will be provided by the teacher unless an alternative arrangement (bring your own) has been made.
Afternoon lessons and activities will include science and social studies concepts, as well as an integration of reading, writing, mathematics, and the arts. These classes will help children gain scientific, historical and geographical knowledge, with a focus on collaborative work and critical thinking through research, hands-on projects, role-playing, and much more. Students will also have the chance to strengthen social skills and confidence through “circle time”, active games, and free play with their peers.
Program Description

Our Core Learning Program runs 3 days per week.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10am to 4pm.

Students may attend as many days per week as they choose.

Our days will include math, reading, and writing; as well as monthly thematic units from The Layers of Learning curriculum, focusing on subject areas in history, geography, and science.

As always, we will maximize opportunities for hands-on learning, critical thinking, and social-emotional growth.

Core Learning Program: $35/day
Sibling Price: $20/day
Supply Fee: $50 per student
